Writing

 

Screenplays I've written have gone on to become award winning short films, most notably, PERIOD PORTRAIT,  a short film about three women whose lives converge in the feminine hygiene aisle of the supermarket. It won awards from the National Board of Review and New York Women in Film and Television.

My first feature script, A SCIENTIST'S GUIDE TO LIVING AND DYING, was recently produced-- the film is currently in post.

STRANGE LOVE, OR HOW I LEARNED TO FUCK THE BOMB

Susan, a multi-lingual translator from New Jersey, who’s always played it safe, finds herself in the midst of an international plot to deploy hand-held nuclear weapons in major cities and destroy all liberal strongholds. Susan, and her new Iranian lover, must subvert this plot, using their vaginas to take down the earth’s electrical grid and bring humanity to a simpler age of common decency and face-to-face interaction.

 

NIGHT LIFE  an original television series about lucid dreaming, mind control, and cults.

MASS an original television series about a 9 year old girl who becomes obsessed with understanding mass shootings after her mother's life is claimed by one.
